Peltier Modules generate significant heat load at their hot side, which must be dissipated to the ambient to gain a stable and low hot side temperature of the TEC. When ambient air is used as dissipation area, heat sink and fan must be designed to the special requirements of the Peltier Modules, especially to the maximum heat flux of up to 12 W/cm2.
