Answers to common issues
The Thermoshake is controlled by Multi TEC Control (MTC) or Single TEC Control (STC). If there’s a fault, the first step is to identify whether it’s the unit, the controller, or the slot that is causing a problem.
Inheco Thermoshakes are highly complex instruments and require regular maintenance to ensure that they continue to operate and provide optimal performance. We provide preventative maintenance services, any required maintenance is completed by our team of qualified service experts. Services include:
- Reservoir cleaning and top-ups
Our Thermoshakes are liquid cooled - the liquid reservoir needs to be regularly filled/topped up by the user to ensure the units function correctly. During the service we exchange the tubings, clean the loop and refill with new cooling liquid. - Pump servicing
The pump has a minimum running lifespan of 5,000 Hours, at which point it is recommended to service/replace the pump. - Servo maintenance
The Active Clamping mechanism servo has a running lifespan of at least 3750 cycles, at which point it is recommended to service/replace the servo motor.
